Razored Short Curly Bob by Sergey Zaroslav

This is another video taken from the internet by Sergey Zaroslav. Here he does a short curly bob with fringe using a razor. There are many different bob hairstyles such as the inverted bob or stacked bob but naturally curly bobs are a unique type of bob. They have a lot of volume and bounce but some might consider cutting a short bob with curls more difficult than a straight hair bob. Regardless of the hair type or the amount of curls, Sergey makes this haircut look easy.

When determining how he is going to do the cut, he first likes to create his intended haircut with his hands. He uses a Feather LX Styling Razor which is discontinued but uses the same blades as the current Feather Styling Razor. Using only the razor, he starts with making V shaped bangs. He repeats the same line on the rest of the hair using a horizontal elevation. He continues by making a square cutting angle on the middle strand of the top zone. Using the middle strand as the guide, he makes an exterior cutting angle on the rest of the strands in the top zone. Continuously cross checking and checking the balance he makes an exterior cutting angle on the sides and on the back. When finished he adds some product, diffuses the hair and puts pins on the roos to add volume. Finally, he adds detail on dry hair using scissors.

This short hair bob haircut is about chin length in the front and slightly longer in the back. The model’s beautiful brown hair color is the perfect color for this cute short curly bob. The all around layers give her hair more texture and volume in addition to her loose curls. With an updated hairstyle, the only thing that could really brings out the features in her face are some blonde highlights. Working on curly hair can be a little intimidating for some, especially when you consider using a razor to create curly bob looks.

If you’re working with straight hair and want to get a more messy curly look, you can use a curling iron or rollers to give it some extra volume. For a more permanent solution, give a perm. The short curly length bob is a cute fun style.
