If you received damaged products upon receipt, please notify us within 3 business days of receipt. Please call (888) 965-2824 or email service@Jatai.net to get a Return Authorization Number. Once R.A.# has been obtained download and fill out the Return Authorization Form. A return shipping label will be emailed to you. You have the option to replace the product or get a refund. Refunds will be issued once the damaged product is received by Jatai. Refunds will appear on credit card statements with the description “Jatai International”.
Order Was Not Correct
If you find the order was not filled correctly because of wrong item(s) shipped and/or the quantity shipped was incorrect, then contact customer service within 3 business days of receipt. The item(s) must be unopened, in original packaging and in salable condition. Please call (888) 965-2824 or email service@Jatai.net to get a Return Authorization Number. Once R.A.# has been obtained download and fill out the Return Authorization Form. A return shipping label will be emailed to you. You have the option to have the correct product sent to you or refunded. Refunds will be issued once the incorrect product is received by Jatai. Refunds will appear on credit card statements with the description “Jatai International”.
30 Day Money Back Guarantee • Had a Change of Heart
If you are unsatisfied with the product, you must notify Jatai within 30 days of the invoice date. The product MUST be in good salable condition and not abused or damaged for it to qualify for this guarantee. In this instance, please be aware that you are responsible for paying the shipping cost back to us. Please call (888) 965-2824 or email us at service@Jatai.net to get a Return Authorization Number. Once R.A. number has been obtained go download and fill out the Return Authorization Form. Refunds on credit card statements will come from ‘Jatai International’.
An exchange works by returning the item as noted above in the ’30 Day Money Back Guarantee’ and then repurchasing the item through our website.
Order Cancelled or Refused
An order that is cancelled BEFORE shipment is eligible for a full refund, including shipping and handling. If cancelled AFTER it has been shipped, please refuse the shipment and refer to the section below.
If order is refused and returned to Jatai, we will confirm your refusal by phone or email. Upon receipt of returned products Jatai will refund the purchase price and sales tax, if any, but will reduce the refund for any shipping costs. If the order qualified for free freight or through a promotion for free freight, the actual shipping cost will be deducted.
An order is considered a ‘Refused Order’ if:
1) The order was refused by the customer.
2) The order could not be delivered to the address given and it is returned to Jatai
If the return is due to our mistake the amount of refund will be the product cost you paid plus sales tax plus freight paid, less coupon discounts (if any).
If the returned purchase qualified for free freight by reaching our free freight policy then the cost of the freight will be deducted from the refund as long as the returned item brings the original order amount below our freight policy.
If free freight promotion was offered without any order amount minimum then no freight charge will be deducted from the refund amount.
If the return purchase qualified for a free gift with purchase, but the free gift was not returned, the suggested retail value will be deducted from the refund amount.
All refunds are credited back to credit cards unless instructed otherwise. Refunds on credit card statements will come from ‘Jatai International’.
Manufacturer defects due to poor workmanship and/or defective materials are eligible for warranty service subject to the limitations described below.
Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear. Warranty does not include items damaged due to misuse or abuse. This includes items that have been dropped.
A receipt must be provided for warranty service to confirm where and when a product was purchased. Jatai will honor a manufacturer’s warranty only for products purchased from a reseller who we can confirm as purchasing directly from us and provides genuine, new and authentic products. Please see our page of authorized 3rd party marketplace sellers. If the reseller you purchased your product from is not listed please contact us to verify whether or not they are an authorized seller.
All products must be inspected by Jatai to confirm the product falls under the warranty. We will repair or replace (at our option) the defective implement.
Customer is responsible for inbound shipping charges to send the product in for warranty repair or replacement. Jatai will pay the freight back to replace the product.
Please note not all products on the website have the same warranty against manufacturer defects.
Regarding JATAI Scissors by BMAC, there is a 1 year warranty on materials and workmanship. If you feel your scissors need repair during the warranty period, please contact us first to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#).
JATAI’s authorized scissor sharpener is Infinity Scissor Service. Using any other sharpening service during the warranty period will void the warranty.
