Moe Mata

The inspiration behind this cut was whimsical fairy goodness. I knew I wanted to keep the silhouette strong but soft at the same time. I went in with my trusty Feather Styling Razor with Feather Styling Razor Standard Blades to remove weight and add texture throughout the entire cut. Following the shape of her head, I took vertical sections all the way around, layering the hair where it lives. My client wanted to add a micro fringe and I was more than happy to give it to her. I used my Feather Plier Razor with Plier Blades and sliced out my fringe. I pinched pieces from recession to recession and took diagonal slide cuts along the way to create points in the fringe until we were both happy. After the fringe was done I connected the layering in the back at the round of the head using a traveling guide to connect to our micro fringe. I styled this look by diffusing and hand styling with a texturing powder for fullness and max definition.
