About My Work:
I call this cut “shag meets bob with all the wisps.” Using a
Feather Styling Razor and
Feather Styling Razor Standard Blades I created strong lines while also removing weight to create the desired texture. I sectioned a horizontal quadrant around the front hairline from temple-to-temple and cut the hair at natural fall, allowing the hair to frame the face. Working with a traveling guide, I repeated sections above the hairline to the crown in second and third quads to create volume on top of the head. Using diagonal forward sections through the crown I used the razor like a pencil, carving out negative space throughout to create movement and texture. I cut the fringe so it could be worn for full coverage of the forehead or separated for more of a curtain bang style. Once finished with the cut, I diffused and hand styled to utilize all the texture the razor brought out in my client’s hair.
