About My Work:
Owen likes a haircut that looks textured, but not freshly cut. I cut the initial perimeter with my shear, but cut the rest with my
Artist Club SS Folding Razor. The back and front sections I took quarter inch sections and cut the hair at a 45 degree angle using a traveling guide to create texture and a taper at the same time. In the side sections I continued using quarter inch sections and a 45 degree cutting elevation but over directed sections towards the front of the haircut to create longer shaggy texture while still reducing bulk. When I cut these masculine, shaggy styles I will occasionally tell my client to "flip" or "toss" their hair the way they do it in their day-to-day as I'm cutting, and I will take my sections and cut texture based on where the hair will truly lay when the client styles their hair!
