Heat Shields prevent painful burn injuries from hot appliances such as wands, curling irons, flat irons and blow dryers. They are latex-free and made of durable heat resistant material. They can handle 450 degree F temperatures! They stretch and stay snug all day and they are machine washable. The finger tips are sewn for added protection.


Heat Shields by JATAI are worn on the thumb, index and middle finger on the opposite hand holding the tool. Slide the shields to the base of the finger with the extended side on the palm side of the hand. No more gloves! Heat Shields can be interchangeable among fingers allowing flexible freedom for maximum control.

They will also help you to curl hair to the very tips. Properly sanitize after use. They can be washed multiple times without losing elasticity. Heat Shields are only available in black.

To determine your size, use this sizing chart:

S/M: 3/4” (2cm) wide or less

M/L: thumb wider than 3/4” (2cm)
