Terms & Conditions for Submission
I, the undersigned, freely and knowingly agree as follows:
I agree to be photographed, recorded and videotaped by Japan America Trading Agency dba JATAI International (“JATAI”) and its agents (collectively the ”Company”) in connection with my participation in JATAI affiliated and sponsored events of any kind.
When I submit any materials to JATAI, I confirm that all the materials, including but not limited to (a) my name, image and voice, and (b) all films, audio, video, reproductions, media, photocopies, digital copies, photographs, recordings, audiovisual materials, writings, statements and quotations of or by myself in any format (collectively, the “Materials”) submitted to the Company for use by the Company are royalty-free and an exclusive license to use the Materials in perpetuity without restrictions. The Company and its affiliates have permission to use and publish all the Materials in any manner, form or format whatsoever now or as later created, including on the Internet and for any purpose, including but not limited to, advertising, marketing or promotion of JATAI, its products and services, and the services and products of suppliers and affiliates without further consent from or payment to me.
I irrevocably authorize the Company and its affiliates without restriction to copyright, publish, reproduce, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, televise, digitize, display and otherwise permit the Company to use the Materials in any manner, form or format whatsoever now or as later created, including on the Internet and for any purpose including, but not limited to, advertising, marketing or promotion of JATAI, its products and services, and the services and products of suppliers and affiliates without further consent from or payment to me.
It is understood that all of the Materials and all films, audio, video, reproductions, media, photocopies and digital copies of the Materials taken by the Company are the sole property of JATAI. I agree not to contest these rights or authority granted to Company. I, and on behalf of any person or entity that may have a right to assert any claim through or on my behalf, forever release and discharge JATAI, its employees, licensees, agents, insurers, attorneys, successors and assigns from any claims, actions, damages, liabilities, costs (including attorneys’ fees) or demands whatsoever arising by reason of defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, copyright infringement or any other personal or property rights from or related to any use of the Materials. I understand that JATAI is under no obligation to use the Materials.
This contains the entire agreement between JATAI and the undersigned concerning the subject matter hereof. It may not be changed or modified unless in a signed writing by the JATAI President.
