Shaggy Lob with Bangs - For this look, my client requested a long bob length with some shaggy layers and extra long curtain bangs that she could wear down, something between a bob and a shag but a little shaggier. She also asked that the bangs not be super thick. My approach was to keep her fine but dense hair on the fuller and heavier side of things so the ends stayed nice and plump and didn't taper too much. I used the Feather Plier Razor and Feather Plier Razor Blades to create the entire shape using a small to medium stoke throughout for clean and soft edges. The front part of the shape was created with short to long sections from between the brows and out to the temples, over-directing the hair a bit to keep the corners soft and wingy. The face framing graduation was done with lower elevation to create a fuller edge. I kept the back very classic with a longer square layer that I softened with a bit of weight removal where things looked heavy. The finished Jenna Ortega-inspired look was dried and styled by hand with a salt product and a finishing balm.
