I used the Feather Styling Razor to create this airy textured look on my beautiful client! She came in with an inspiration reel of a previous cut I had done and wanted to add bouncy, wispy layers. I chose the Styling Razor because it’s the perfect tool for this type of cut because of how effortlessly you can create a bold yet soft look with only one versatile tool. With it I was able to carve movement, remove weight, and create a perfect textured bang and face framing. After applying JATAI Blade Glide to the hair, I began in the front fringe section and carved out wispy bangs by removing weight in petals. Next I took a section from the apex of the head to the front of the ear to create soft face framing for those perfect ponytail side pieces. I continued the haircut by taking pivoting sections, over directing them forward and cutting diagonally with my razor. I finished this look by styling her with a blowout and my favorite texture spray and hair oil.
