My client has been rocking a similar cut to this for years but wanted to updated it with more texture and style. I started this cut using clippers and faded from a 0 up to a 1 for the shaved part of the mohawk. Then using my Feather Styling Razor I went in and took 90° sections with a traveling guide to get a ton of layers. I went back in with my razor again to feather out some more texture and make it super choppy. He had started growing the rat tail on his own so we decided to keep it and make it even cooler for summer. I finished by trimming the little rat tail and braiding it. To finish off I used a volume spray and firm hold pomade for texture and style!
