My client came in with a very overgrown mullet. We did a consultation to discuss what he was looking for - something still in the mullet family but with a more modern alternative twist. I started with my a href= https://www.jatai.net/product/feather-artist-club-ss-folding-razor/ target=”_blank”> Feather Artist Club SS Folding Razor with the Feather Artist Club Pro Guard Blades to remove bulk length around the perimeter of the cut and to start creating my shape. After shaving the sides and back, I then cleaned up around the hairline and bottom of the nape with the same razor to get a clean shave to the skin. I then went in with my Feather Detail Styling Razor with the Feather Styling Razor Texturizing Blades to add texture and movement throughout the haircut. To create my texture I went in 1” sections in a pie formation with my center being the crown of the head. For the back, I over directed my fingers outward to create more length towards the top and less at the bottom. To finish the look, I went in with a Sea Salt Spray and my diffuser to emphasize the texture and create an almost anime style look.
